PROBATION junior is a virtual scientific journal in the criminal justice arena for young researchers. It is our hope that PROBATION junior will generate a mechanism for younger researchers to come together to critically analyze the justice system and emerge with a new vision for its future. Additionally, we hope that PROBATION junior will help encapsulate passion and dedication from the younger generation to take the criminal justice system in a new and improved course.

In March of 2009, the concept for the journal became real. The inaugural edition of PROBATION junior had been released in October 2009; with subsequent quarterly releases. Starting with the 3rd Volume, 2011, onward the journal will have 2 issues per year (15 of October and 15 of April). PROBATION junior will be supported by four variants, English, French, Spanish and Romanian.

The team of PROBATION junior strongly promotes integration and support for the youth in this area. As such the foundation in which PROBATION junior was developed looks at two key components of the Criminal Justice arena. The first is to consider criminal justice as a phenomenon that must be taken in deliberated with special attention and astuteness. Secondly, PROBATION junior will be held as the premier virtual journal - an active structure for young researchers in the criminal justice field, in many respects the future of your society, to share and discuss their opinions, receive feedback to support a mechanism for change in the justice field.

PROBATION junior is a Peer-Review Blind academic journal, on it's website will appear only those materials (e.g. essays, research projects, book reviews, analyses of recentness phenomenon, projects presentation and/or analyze, finalized researches, analytic photography, and panels), who will be evaluated and revised by a Referees Team from the Academic Board.

PROBATION junior will bring a newness to the justice arena. Submitted and selected topics will be analyzed by the virtual public allowing for comments, the main purpose being to support an academic virtual debate.
